What is exciting news for all international film filmmakers, the Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB) will offer support to international film producers for five days of production support costs during location scouting. The Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB) has officially launched a Location Scouting Program for International Filmmakers, an initiative designed to make Cambodia more accessible for global film, television, documentary, and commercial sectors.
For up to five days, filmmakers are immersed in Cambodia’s most compelling locations, with 100% of on-ground costs covered. From selected hotels and private transport to local production support, everything is arranged to ensure a smooth process so filmmakers can focus on being creative.
- Accommodation: Pre-selected partner hotels in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, or coastal regions.
- Transportation: A private vehicle and driver for all scouting routes.
- Fixers or guides: A local production liaison to assist with language, site access, and technical inquiries.
- Permits: All entry fees for national parks, heritage sites, and government-managed properties.
This program is part of a bigger goal, showing that Cambodia is not just a place to film, but a place to build long-term creative work together.
