Last year, we had the incredible opportunity to work behind the scenes of another major international project. KUDU Studios proudly served as the local line producer for JetSet TV’s premier travel series, Great River Cruise Journeys, during their extensive shoot across the country. Most excitingly, this travel show served as the gateway for the nation to welcoming back the legendary British broadcaster, journalist, and Strictly Come Dancing star, Angela Rippon, back to Cambodia.
Great River Cruise Journeys is a peak-time travel series dedicated to showcasing the majesty, culture, and beauty of some of the world’s most iconic rivers—and the vibrant communities that live alongside them. For this spectacular episode, the spotlight was turned toward the lifeblood of Southeast Asia, the mighty Mekong River.
Behind every stunning frame of a major television broadcast lies an intricate web of logistics, scouting, and local coordination. As the primary line producer on the ground, the KUDU Studios crew worked tirelessly to manage the heavy lifting. Our team handled everything from securing strict location permits at historic temples and architectural landmarks to coordinating regional transportation and equipment logistics. This allowed the visiting director and crew to focus purely on capturing Cambodia’s breathtaking scenery, vibrant culture, and unique local charm.

A true highlight of this film production in Cambodia was collaborating with presenter Angela Rippon.
