Managing Director/Film Director 🎬 🎥

Phally Ngoeum is a female documentary filmmaker who has been involved in the industry for more than 10 years. During those years, Phally embodies the knowledge and experience of film locally and internationally. Trained by an Oscar-nominated filmmaker, Rithy Panh, she performs all aspects of documentary film production independently and responsively from conceptualization to screen. Through filmmaking, Phally is exposed to a variety of social issues, and she is here to tell stories with the hope of positive transformation to society.

  • Monitor coverage of key Oxfam issues in regional media and track Oxfam media hits.

  • Document success stories on regional programs to substantiate learning on the Oxfam approach to policy and programming.

  • Coordinate the writing, editing and uploading of material and case studies for websites and social media.

  • Act as the “brand champion” ensure that all Oxfam products, communications, and actions follow brand guidelines.

  • Actively promote good communication between partners and particularly youth groups across the region

  • Support the production of partner program reports and documentation to a high quality

  • Be the focal point for coordinating program visitors particularly if related to material gathering
